‘Pretty Little Liars’ Actor Brant Daugherty Joins ‘Army Wives’

Pretty Little Liars actor Brant Daugherty is the latest addition to the seventh season of the Lifetime drama Army Wives.

Daugherty has landed a recurring role as 2nd Lt. Patrick Clark, who is the son of Jackie (Kelli Williams) and Kevin (Robert John Burke). According to Deadline, Clark is an infantry officer just out of West Point who is anxious to prove himself in combat. Daugherty’s character may be a love interest for Gloria (Alyssa Diaz) and may become a series regular next season. Daugherty’s character on Pretty Little Liars, Noel Kahn, is a recurring character who was once a love interest for Lucy Hale’s Aria Montgomery. He also had a recurring role on Days of Our Lives.

Daugherty joins a growing cast for the upcoming season of Army Wives. Last week, Brooke Shields was cast as Air Force Colonel Katherine “Kat” Young, and, prior to that, singer Jesse McCartney was cast for an 11-episode recurring arc. Elle McLemore, Ashanti, and Torrey DeVitto — who was also in Pretty Little Liars — were cast as series regulars.

Army Wives was renewed for a seventh season in September, which will see a significant change due to the departure of star Kim Delaney, who plays Claudia Joy Holden. Holden will be killed off in the season premiere, shaking things up dramatically. Series regulars Sally Pressman (Roxy LeBlanc) and Sterling K. Brown (Roland Burton) will be appearing as recurring characters instead of as series regulars.

The seventh season of Army Wives premieres March 10 at 9 pm on Lifetime.
