Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Canyons’ Co-Star Says She Acted Like ‘A Child’ On Set

James Deen, the pornographic actor who co-stars with Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming film The Canyons, has slammed the troubled actress, saying that she acted like “a child” while on set.

Lohan’s attempt at a career comeback has suffered several missteps and a lot of criticism. Though it initially looked like she was working hard to reform her troubled and unreliable image, a series of continuing personal troubles and film flops have seemingly slowed her shot at redemption. Liz & Dick got terrible reviews. The Canyons was rejected by SXSW for “quality issues.”

At least her co-stars have had her back the whole way, right? Grant Bowler, her leading man on Liz & Dickdefended Lohan from criticisms that she was more trouble than she was worth, and Canyons co-star James Deen argued that a leaked audio tape, during which Lohan harshly insults him, was taken out of context.

But now, Deen is criticizing Lohan, slamming her on-set behavior and comparing her to a “child lashing out.”

Deen tells The Sun: “There were days when she would scream and yell and cry and refuse to come out. In porn I am used to working with professionals who are courteous to others. But Lindsay was like a child lashing out.”

As an example, Deen recalled an incident during which Lohan lashed out at director Paul Schrader for asking her to take her shoes off for a scene.

“It was a simple request. I am a short guy and it looked ridiculous with her towering over me in seven-inch heels. But she refused. She was crying and screaming that she was the star of the film. In the end it was decided I would wear boots to make me taller and she finally calmed down.”

Still, MSN notes that Deen’s feelings toward Lohan are more rooted in pity than anger. “She is a product of the Hollywood system,” he says. “She is so fragile you can’t help but feel for her.”
