Mr. Belding: Fans Deserve ‘Saved By The Bell’ Reunion

All of the pieces are slowly coming into place. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, AKA Zack Morris, recently said that he would not be against a Saved By The Bell reunion and now Dennis Haskins, AKA Mr. Belding, said that he’d be up for getting back together with the old cast.

Mr. Belding was pretty enthusiastic about a reunion saying that Saved By The Bell still has a lot of fans.

The actor told TMZ:

“I have always supported a reunion of any kind including all of us. Honestly, the fans still love us and our show so much … they deserve it!”

Mr. Belding is only part of the ensemble cast that would have to reassemble for a proper reunion. Gosselaar said that he would be in but only if the new Boy Meets World spin-off performs well. Gosselaar said that if Girl Meets World did well then “maybe we’ll do a reunion as well.”

Of course, Dustin Diamond (Screech), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) would all still have to agree to a reunion. Lopez, Thiessen and Gosselaar are still pretty active on the small screen so it would be pretty surprising for them to meet up again for a new series.

But maybe a reunion special… Saved By The Bell: The Over 40 Years.
