A fake version of the Carrie Prejean sextape video is infecting PC's as malware distributors cash in on public interest in viewing the video.
Interest in obtaining the Carrie Prejean sextape has been high online since word broke last week that it existed, with more interest added since Prejean decided to hit the TV circuit to discuss her fall from grace.
The fake Carrie Prejean sextape video has appeared on Usenet and some BitTorrent trackers, and according to infected users installs a variety of malware and trojans that among other things hijacks control of the PC's they have been installed on.
At the time of writing the Carrie Prejean sextape hasn't made its way online, and given the settlement between Prejean and the Miss USA California organizers, it probably never will. In the event though that it does make its way online, stay well away: the video was shot when Prejean was 17, making the video child pornography and illegal to view.
