Marie Osmond’s Daughter Weds In Christmas Day Ceremony

With news that Marie Osmond’s daughter weds in Utah, it’s official — one of America’s most famous families just got a little bit bigger.

Rachel Blosil, Marie Osmond’s daughter, was married to fashion designer Gabriel Krueger in Park City, Utah. The wedding took place on Christmas Day — making it an easy anniversary to remember — and People magazine reported that it was an intimate ceremony attended by family.

“I have never seen Rachael look happier!” Marie Osmond told People about her daughter’s wedding. “We welcomed Gabriel with open arms into our loving family.”

The ceremony was staged in a cabin, The Huffington Post added.

Marie Osmond appears ready to play the role of cool mother-in-law. She recently published an opinion piece in The Guardian about aging gracefully.

“I feel blessed – I am a woman who has been able to work in the entertainment business for five decades. I don’t want to age, but I would never take back a year for the wisdom I’ve gained in that time,” she wrote.

Marie Osmond’s daughter weds only a year after meeting her beau. Krueger was studying at the Illinois Institute of Art when Rachel, a costume designer, came into town to work on the Donny & Marie holiday show with her mother and uncle Donny Osmond.

The Osmond family seems thrilled to be welcoming Krueger to the family.

“I absolutely love Gabriel,” Osmond told People, “and couldn’t be more excited for the two of them to start a wonderful life together!”

Marie Osmond’s daughter weds after a very brief engagement. Krueger reportedly popped the question on December 15 on the Santa Monica Pier.
