Church Of Scientology Allegedly Running ‘Alien Space Cathedral’

The Church of Scientology is allegedly running a huge installation in the desert of New Mexico that is used as an “Alien Space Cathedral.”

According to the Huffington Post, the installation includes a crop circle-type design (pictured above) that is large enough to be seen from space.

News of the installation was discovered in BBC Panorama reporter John Sweeney’s new book, Church of Fear: Inside the Weird World of Scientology.

The New York Daily News reveals that, in his book, Sweeney writes that two interlocking circles, each with a large diamond shape inside, were created as markers to guide Church of Scientology members home after the earth is once again safe following a nuclear Armageddon.

Sweeney also claims that buried texts from Ron L. Hubbards books are included at the site to ensure the continuation of the Church of Scientology in case the world goes all Book of Eli after the Armageddon.

In his book, Sweeney also claims that the church in the 1980s built a huge underground space alien cathedral. Sweeney writes:

“Its vault houses the lectures of Hubbard on gold discs locked in titanium caskets sealed with argon. The cathedral is H-bomb proof.”

Sweeney goes on to tell The Raw Story:

“If I’m wrong about the church believing in aliens, then why have they built these giant symbols in the middle of the desert that can only be seen from outer space.”

On the one hand, the Space Alien Cathedral installation to outsiders probably seems crazy; on the other hand, at least if deadly aliens do come to Earth, they might see the churches landing symbol and attack the Church of Scientology first.
