Parents Use Headlock To Detain Man Caught In Daughter’s Bedroom

Houston, TX – Parents of a 15-year-old girl used a headlock to detain a man they caught in their daughter’s bedroom.

On the evening of December 27, the mother stopped by her youngest daughter’s room and was shocked to discover a man inside. Carlos Narvaez, as he was later identified by authorities, was engaging in intercourse with the teenager.

Narvaez, 21-years-old, met the girl online through MocoSpace, a social networking site. After approximately two weeks of communication, he allegedly sneaked into the family’s home and then into the daughter’s bedroom, according to KHOU 11 News.

The Houston, Texas mother, unidentified for the girl’s protection, recalls her reaction to finding Narvaez:

“I walked in the room and turned on the light. He just stands up, and I’m like, oh my god, what are you doing here? He’s like, ‘I’ve got to go’. I’m like, no, you’re not going anywhere. I told him, you know what I can do to you? I can get my gun and shoot you and nobody’s going to say anything to me because you are in my house.”

Rather than trying to injure the man, she called for help which brought her husband to investigate the commotion. Realizing the situation, the husband (who is the teenager’s stepfather) put the intruder in a fierce headlock to detain him until police could arrive.

Carlos Narvaez was arrested and has been charged with the sexual assault of a child. He is currently being detained on $35,000 bail.

According to The Daily Mail, there have been other sexual crime cases linked to MocoSpace. At least three women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault, each tied to men they met through the social site. MocoSpace reportedly has approximately 22 million users.
