Oldest Identical Twins Alive Turn 103

Do you ever feel like you’re just too old? These identical twins may shut you right up.

The world’s oldest living identical twins celebrated their 103rd birthday on Monday.

Still feel old? Well they will probably laugh at you.

South Florida and Daytona Beach, Florida’s Charlotte Eisgrou and Ann Primack of are still in the best of health, despite their age. Neither uses a hearing aide or glasses.

Eisgrou told the Daytona Beach News-Journal:

“I feel wonderful. I have all my faculties.”

Although the pair was unable to spend their birthday together since they are both recovering from recent falls, they still consider each other best friends.

The twins were born in Chicago in 1909, two months premature. They were tiny. Since they were born before incubators existed, they were wrapped in blankets and put inside a stove door to keep warm. They have been inseparable ever since, reported the Daily Mail.

Primack said:

“I can’t believe it, that I’ve reached that age. The good thing is our minds are sharp. That’s the only good thing.”

Eisgrou began driving at 78 and didn’t stop until a few years ago, when her now 71-year-old son said, “I shouldn’t get a new car with all the hijackings.”

Primack muses:

“I used to visit Daytona and we’d switch husbands and walk in the temple. And they’d say to me, ‘Charlotte, you look so good.'”

Eisgrou adds:

“Nobody ever knew the difference. And by the time they found out, they were hysterical. We had so much fun.”

Jerry Primack, Ann’s son commented:

“They are very funny. They bicker constantly.”

Eisgrou mentioned:

“I don’t know the secret to a long life. And I wouldn’t tell you if I knew it.”
