‘Texoma Shore’ Better Be A Hit For Blake Shelton Because Someone Just Hit His House With A Truck!

It has been an interesting week for Blake Shelton. On the same day he released his new album Texoma Shore, someone drove a truck into his Oklahoma lake house. The country superstar talked about the “weird moment” during his appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, and he’s afraid that the accident might bring his album bad luck.

According to Taste of Country, the Voice coach revealed during an appearance on the morning show that just before he came out to promote his record, he received a call that a truck crashed into the front of the lake house where he recorded his new album.

He went on to say that if the album doesn’t hit, that’s bad luck.

The singer did not yet know the details about the accident, but it was not considered to be an attack aimed at him. He said that he was trying to figure out what happened but wasn’t too worried about it because he has insurance.

The title Texoma Shore refers to the lake on the Oklahoma-Texas border where Blake Shelton spent much of his childhood. It is also the place where he and Gwen Stefani spent a lazy summer and inspired him to record the album.

That was just the beginning of Stefani’s influence on the project. The song “I’ll Name the Dogs” is about a couple settling down and getting married, and in “Turnin’ Me On,” Shelton sings about a woman who sets him on fire and is “Revlon red in the blackest night.”

According to Billboard, the 41-year-old recently performed at the Cutting Room in New York, and he explained to the crowd that was killing time on his tour bus thinking about his girlfriend and ended up writing the song.

Shelton said it is not difficult to figure out who the song is about. Of course, Stefani is known for her bold red lips and is also a Revlon brand ambassador.

People Magazine is reporting that even though the couple has not announced an engagement, their romance is obvious in many of Blake Shelton’s lyrics. However, it’s not just his lyrics that Stefani has influenced. Her sons Kingston, 12, and Zuma, 9, appear in his music video for “I’ll Name the Dogs.”
