Ellen Pompeo Of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Says James Toback Once Asked Her To Get Naked In A Movie
Ellen Pompeo of Grey’s Anatomy is revealing that she dealt with a situation with filmmaker James Toback a while ago. USA Today shared the details about what happened and how she is actually one of the lucky ones. James Toback has been accused of sexual harassment by more than 300 women now, and Ellen is sharing that she had a situation with him.
Ellen explained this situation happened early in her career and that she told him to go “bleep” himself. It turns out that she was in a public place with him and brought along a guy who was just friends with her. The second that the guy left, James asked her if she could get naked in a movie, but of course, she didn’t want to do that.
Lucky for Ellen, this was all that James Toback ever did to her; meanwhile, other women are saying a lot worse happened to him. Other women are sharing that James invited them to his apartment or hotel room and made it sound like they would be doing a private audition. Selma Blair said he wouldn’t even let her leave the hotel room until he was done masturbating in front of her. This is just one of many stories that are coming out now about James Toback.
Pompeo is very lucky because she also had a meeting with Harvey Weinstein once at a hotel, but the actress said that he never tried anything with her. A lot of other women are sharing that he has sexually assaulted them, but Ellen stated that nothing like this ever happened to her. She admits to being very grateful that she has been on the show Grey’s Anatomy for the last 14 years, and she feels like this is a really safe space for her. Ellen hasn’t had to go out and audition for a ton of jobs and is in a great spot with the show.
