WWE News: The Young Bucks Rib The Undertaker, Post Photo Of Him ‘Wearing’ Their Shirt

With a WWE career spanning 27 years, The Undertaker is one of the last people you’d expect working the independent wrestling scene. The Young Bucks, on the other hand, are mainstays of indy wrestling, and are well-known even to wrestling fans who don’t regularly follow Ring of Honor or New Japan Pro Wrestling. That’s why it was interesting to see The Young Bucks pulling what could be considered a playful online “rib,” or prank on The Undertaker, editing a very recent photo of his and making it appear as if he was wearing their signature Bullet Club t-shirt.

On Saturday evening, Young Bucks member Nick Jackson took to Twitter to post an image of The Undertaker wearing what looked to be the team’s official shirt as members of popular NJPW faction The Bullet Club. And while the photo almost appeared to be a legitimate endorsement of The Young Bucks from one of the WWE’s most iconic performers of all time, Sportskeeda noted that it was clearly a Photoshopped image that showed “The IndyTaker,” as Jackson referred to him, leaving a Subway restaurant with a cup in one hand and takeout food in the other.

According to Sportskeeda, the photo The Young Bucks used on their post actually featured The Undertaker wearing a black “Rogue American” t-shirt with a gun in the colors of the American flag. This design is not in any way affiliated with The Young Bucks or The Bullet Club, though the “IndyTaker” moniker used by Nick Jackson on the Twitter post is also the name of one of the moves he performs in the ring alongside his brother and teammate, Matt Jackson.

Neither the WWE nor The Undertaker have commented so far on The Young Bucks’ “IndyTaker” post. But it wasn’t too long ago when the popular tag team ran afoul of the WWE, as the company issued a cease and desist order against Matt and Nick Jackson for their use of the “Too Sweet” hand gesture. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE maintained that it owns the copyright to the gesture, and had asked The Young Bucks to stop using its intellectual property during their ROH and NJPW appearances or on any of their merchandise, or pay at least $150,000 in damages if they continue doing so.

If The Young Bucks were inviting The Undertaker to join The Bullet Club through their Photoshopped image, the “Deadman” will likely have to turn the brothers down. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, The Undertaker is scheduled to appear on Monday Night Raw’s 25th anniversary special on January 22, 2018, with rumors suggesting that he might be planning a return to the ring despite the common assumption that he was retired by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 earlier this year.
