Possible Winner Between ‘Raw’ And ‘SmackDown’ At ‘Survivor Series’ Revealed

The WWE will hold the 30th Anniversary of Survivor Series on November 19 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event is being built as a brand war between Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live with a lot of pride at stake. With Survivor Series less than two weeks away, the latest backstage news has revealed the possible winning brand at the event.

According to the official website of the WWE, there will be five matches between Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. Universal champion Brock Lesnar is set to take on WWE champion Jinder Mahal while Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss battles it out against SmackDown Live Women’s champion Natalya.

Intercontinental champion The Miz has his hands full against United States champion Baron Corbin. Meanwhile, The Shield brothers and reigning Raw Tag Team champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will try to defeat SmackDown Tag Team champions The Usos. Finally, there will be a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match for men and women.

The women’s team of Monday Night Raw only has two superstars so far, Alicia Fox and Nia Jax, while SmackDown Live already has their lineup of Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Naomi, Carmella, and Tamina. On the other hand, the men’s team of Raw currently consists of Kurt Angle and Braun Strowman. They will go up against Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and one other member of the SmackDown Live roster.

With Survivor Series right around the corner, the WWE has started planning the outcomes for the matches. The Dirty Sheets report that the rivalry between the brands is getting real behind the scenes with the creative teams clashing in a recent meeting with Vince McMahon. Neither creative team for Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live were willing to make their brand weak.

The report added that the WWE chairman wants Monday Night Raw to prevail against SmackDown Live by a score of 3-2. The only penciled winner at the moment is Brock Lesnar going over Jinder Mahal but plans can still change. In last year’s Survivor Series, Monday Night Raw defeated SmackDown Live by a score of 3-2.

However, SmackDown winning the main event was the biggest victory of the night last year. Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt were the survivors as they defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns with ease. Last year’s Survivor Series was one of the best WWE events in recent memory.

It should be noted that the potential result of Survivor Series is still speculative at the moment and nothing has been confirmed. The WWE tends to change their plans on a regular basis, with some changes happening hours before the event.
