Jessa Duggar Seewald Celebrates 25th Birthday, Pens Appreciation Letter To Michelle Duggar

Jessa Duggar Seewald turned 25 yesterday, and her family ensured that she had a great day. In the Duggar family, with 19 children and nine grandchildren (with one on the way), there is always a birthday or anniversary to celebrate, however the family never misses a beat.

The Duggar family wished Jessa a happy birthday via their official Facebook page, sharing photos of her throughout the years. Although there is no official confirmation as to who runs the Duggar social media, most believe Michelle Duggar is behind it. She dubbed Jessa an eloquent, loving, compassionate, and spunky woman.

Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Jessa Duggar Seewald’s closest-in-age sister, wrote a message to her on her Facebook as well. She shared adorable photos of the sisters throughout the years, and thanked Jessa for the “countless hours” of conversations the girls had late at night in their bedroom growing up. Jinger and Jessa have always been notoriously close, and Jinger was especially upset when Jessa married and moved out of the Duggar family home. Jinger even called herself Jessa’s “BFF,” solidifying the strong bond between the sisters.

However, it wasn’t only Jessa’s family who celebrated her on her birthday, but Jessa took the time to thank her mother, Michelle Duggar, for giving birth to her and raising her.

Jessa Duggar Seewald told her mother how much she respected her for giving birth 19 times over (even though Michelle has given birth to two sets of twins, meaning she has actually only gone through the birthing process 17 times) and how she knew she was the strongest willed of the Duggar girls growing up.

Rumors have swirled that Jessa Duggar Seewald has been dubbed the “mean sister,” though this has not necessarily been substantiated. In the book published by Jill Duggar Dillard, Jana Duggar, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar Vuolo, Jessa reminisced about bullying her older sister Jana and laughing when she cried.

Jessa has also been known as the “no nonsense” sister and was in charge of the younger children’s homeschooling for a while. If a child wasn’t behaving or refused to do schoolwork, the family said they always threatened to “call Jessa,” which was usually enough to get them to buckle down.

The Seewald and Duggar families also celebrated Jessa’s eldest son, Spurgeon Elliott’s, second birthday on November 4.
