Meghan Markle Reportedly Moving To London This Month And Setting Up Her Own Charity

Prince Harry’s girlfriend and rumored fiancée Meghan Markle is reportedly moving to London in November where she is also said to set up her own charity. The report comes amidst engagement rumors suggesting the couple are expected to make the announcement around Christmastime.

The 36-year-old actress will move to Prince Harry’s home country as soon as she finishes filming for the remaining episodes of Suits Season 7 in Toronto, Canada. Once in the United Kingdom, Markle also plans to rent an office in London where she will engage in charity work focused on women’s welfare.

A source told the Daily Mail that Markle has always intended to focus on her humanitarian work sometime in the future and her relationship with the royal so happened to fast-track things.

Last month, it was reported that Markle has decided not to renew her contract for Suits, the hit legal drama where she portrays the feisty and smart paralegal Rachel Zane. According to insiders, Markle has informed the show’s producers that she will not be returning for the eighth season.

Outside of her career as an actress, Markle has committed herself to a life of humanitarian work. She has served as an ambassador for the United Nations and has partnered with World Vision Canada. She was also tapped to be a counselor for One Young World. In March, Vanity Fair U.K. honored the actress for her philanthropic work, joining the ranks of former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, women’s rights activist Loujain al-Hathlouol, singer Cher, and actress Emma Watson.

With her move to London, Markle is expected to continue working on her advocacies as well as “broaden out her charity commitments” once she becomes a full-fledged royal.

There is a lot of talk as to where the Suits actress will live. At present, Prince Harry is housed in the Nottingham Cottage, which is located within the Kensington Palace grounds. Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight it’s possible for Markle to make the Kensington Palace her home in London and it is said that she already has clothes kept in Harry’s house.

Although the couple has not announced their engagement despite rumors, Meghan Markle has been making notable changes to her daily routine. Markle has been spotted clad in more conservative pieces such as midi dresses and trousers, as opposed to her previous looks that included mini dresses and shorts. It is said that the actress is now following the strict “no knees” policy imposed by Queen Elizabeth II.
