‘Bachelor’ Alum Vienna Girardi Opens Up About Losing Her Twins To TTTS Three Months After Loss

Vienna Girardi has had a rough couple of months. Earlier this year she announced that she was expecting twins. It came as a complete shock to Bachelor fans who had no idea she was even serious with anyone. Girardi was somewhat of a villain in the franchise, especially when she was paired with Jake Pavelka. She went on to date Kasey Kahl after the two appeared on Bachelor Pad, but eventually, they split as well. Vienna disappeared from the spotlight and only reemerged when she announced her pregnancy.

Last summer, Vienna Girardi revealed that she was having twin girls. They were identical, and she was excited about welcoming two princesses into her life. Girardi went to social media to talk about the gender reveal. Unfortunately, just days later, Vienna Girardi revealed that she had lost both of her daughters. The statement was not in depth, it only revealed that Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome was the reason both of her daughters didn’t make it. That was back in August, and since then, Girardi has remained quiet. Now, she has finally decided to talk about what happened and did so on a recent appearance on The Doctors.

There was a lot of talk surrounding Vienna Girardi and her health following the announcement she had lost both of her daughters. According to People, Vienna appeared on a recent episode of The Doctors to open up about her devastating loss back in August. She talked about how things happened on the day her life changed forever. Girardi tried everything to save her girls, including risking her own life. In fact, her mother, who was present during the interview, talked about the thought of losing both her daughter and granddaughters at the same time.

The most important thing Vienna Girardi wanted to know when she woke up after surgery was whether or not she would be able to get pregnant again. With the procedure, there was a risk that she would never be able to have children. Fortunately, the doctors were able to salvage her chance at another pregnancy, something she is very happy about. Nothing will take away the pain of losing her children to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, but she can now advocate and help other mothers facing the same devastating fate.
