Jennifer Lawrence Calls Chris Pratt ‘One Hot Guy’ After Anna Faris’ Speaks Out About Cheating Rumors

Jennifer Lawrence sure has a good sense of humor. The Hunger Games star recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a guest-host and showcased her wit and savvy interviewing.

On Thursday, the 27-year-old actress joked about her hunky co-star in Passengers, Chris Pratt. While guest-hosting the hit late-night talk show, Jennifer took part in a segment wherein she was tasked to hit the streets and surprise unsuspecting tourists on Hollywood Boulevard.

In the segment, Lawrence asked random people to name five movies she’s been in. Interestingly, the majority of the people she asked struggled to come up with the films she’s starred in.

However, one passerby seemed to recognize one particular film because of her “hot” co-star. “You’re in the space one with the hot guy” the woman guessed, referring to her movie Passengers with Pratt as her hunky partner.

In response, Jennifer wittily agreed with the woman, calling Chris “the one hot guy.” Lawrence’s remark about Pratt somehow reignited cheating allegations that reportedly caused the actor’s split with his wife, Anna Faris.

It can be recalled that Lawrence and Pratt have been bombarded with dating rumors while filming for the sci-fi flick in 2016. However, the duo vehemently denied such allegations, adding that they are just mere friends.

Unfortunately, the rumors were too much for Faris to handle, so much so that it made her feel “insecure.” In Anna’s controversial memoir Unqualified, she candidly opened up about how the malicious claims affected her personally.

Despite knowing that Pratt had been faithful to her, Faris admitted that the rumors were very “hurtful” for her. The actress also revealed that she confronted her then-husband about it, adding that he didn’t understand it at first.

Apparently, Anna has always taken pride in her relationship with Chris, so when the cheating allegations started to spread, she felt incredibly insecure. The House Bunny actress also revealed that she was warned about the potential rumors even before Passengers started production.

“Before [Pratt and Lawrence] met in person, my publicist, out of the blue, pulled me aside. ‘Anna, listen there are going to be paparazzi all over them.”

And while Faris dealt with the emotional stress brought by the cheating speculations, Jennifer Lawrence reportedly helped her move past the rumors. Anna revealed that the Mother actor apologized to her even though she didn’t really need to.

“Jennifer and I really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn’t need to be because she hadn’t done anything wrong.”
