Jason Momoa Finally Marries Lisa Bonet In Secret Wedding

While fans of either Jason Momoa or Lisa Bonet may have been certain that the couple has been married for the past 10 years, that’s just not the case. In fact, the Hollywood pair didn’t tie the knot until very recently. In a very private ceremony, Jason and Lisa were just married last month.

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa Say “I Do”

Vanity Fair reports that Jason Momoa, star of Game of Thrones and the upcoming Aquaman film, married the former Cosby Show actress in a secret wedding. The event was kept small and intimate, taking place in early October, when both actors were able to get away.

Many fans assumed the pair had been married previously, though no official word ever confirmed the gossip. The confusion may stem from the fact that Momoa often called Ms. Bonet “my wife” in interviews and other public statements.

“My wife being a very pretty woman. She’s beautiful and I love her. … My wife’s Lisa Bonet. I’m a very lucky man,” the Aquaman star previously said on a 2013 interview.

Lisa Bonet Was Wooed by the Younger Game of Thrones Star

According to People, 38-year-old Jason Momoa met Lisa Bonet, now 49, in 2005. The pair instantly hit it off and had their first daughter together, Lola, within two years. That same year, 2007, rumors that the couple had wed began circulating, but that was not confirmed.

In 2008, Lisa and Jason had another child, son Nakoa-Wolf.

Of their first meeting, Momoa recalled that he met Bonet while he was living out of a hotel. He admits inviting her to have a meal at the hotel’s diner was a foolish move, but Lisa accepted. He recalls that she took a liking to him early.

Momoa often gushes over his new wife, seemingly amazed by her devotion to him. The Aquaman actor’s compliments of Lisa knows no bounds, saying Bonet is an angel for putting up with him.

While reps for Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have yet to comment, there’s no doubt the Hollywood couple is very happy together. They are often seen gushing over one another on their social media accounts and sharing pictures of their time with Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. Momoa is as proud of the children as he is of his wife, openly expressing his love for his family on Instagram.
