New Photos Of The Undertaker Revealed – Does He Look Ready For A WWE Return?

There have been new candid photos of the Undertaker posted online; does he look like he is ready to get back in the ring? After his ceremonial departure from the ring following his loss to Roman Reigns this year at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida, it was just about certain that the Deadman would no longer compete as a professional wrestler. Aside from being 52-years-old, Undertaker has been in the business since 1984, which marks 33 years of sacrificing his body and taking bumps for the fans. Although he fits the “big man” image of traditional wrestling, Undertaker is one of the most agile of his kind, performing moves such as the “Old School” tightrope into an ax handle, and his picture-perfect swan dive outside the ring.

The combination of these factors made it very tough for Undertaker to perform in the way that fans are used to seeing him. This was especially shown via the two matches he performed this year – limping in the Royal Rumble match before getting eliminated by Roman Reigns, and looking very fragile during his WrestleMania match with Reigns before losing. However, there have been new photos revealed of the Undertaker taking some food to go.

As reported by The Sun, Undertaker strolled out of a Subway donning black attire and white shoes. He was also carrying a bag from Best Buy, which may indicate that he was planning for a night indoors. The outlet also mentioned that a diet of foot-long sandwiches and soda is not the best option to chose before his return.

As announced by WWE, Undertaker is scheduled to make an appearance at the 25th Anniversary of Raw event, occurring on January 22. It has yet to be confirmed that it will be in a wrestling role, although it is unlikely. Interestingly, around the time of the Royal Rumble is when Undertaker starts to tease a WrestleMania appearance, so this could very well happen at this event.

To many, the sendoff he had at this year’s WrestleMania event was an emphatic period to an amazing 27-year career in the WWE. Could the Undertaker ever be considered as overstaying his welcome? With the yearly appearances at the grandest stage of them all, some would agree that his two losses should have proverbially closed the casket of his in-ring WWE career.
