Siggy Flicker Is Taking A Step Back From Twitter After Andy Cohen Told Her To Stop Engaging With Trolls

Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been dramatic for Siggy Flicker on and off the small screen. The sophomore Housewife star has been the center of the drama in Jersey and has defended her actions profusely on Twitter. Bravo icon Andy Cohen recently gave the star some advice when it comes to the trolls.

While sitting in the audience during bestie Dolores Catania’s Watch What Happens Live interview on Wednesday, Flicker engaged in a conversation with Cohen during a commercial break.

Page Six spoke with another member of the audience who detailed the conversation between the two. Apparently, Cohen told Flicker she needed to “get off Twitter” because the trolls would drive her insane. Fans who have followed Flicker on Twitter the last few weeks could see she was reaching her breaking point.

Cohen went on to tell her that these engagements with trolls were “toxic” and she needed to “take the poison out” of her life. He even tried to get her to remove the app from her phone while she was sitting in the audience.

He then went on to say that if she couldn’t stay off Twitter, she should just mute the trolls instead of blocking them. Cohen said from experience if you block them, they just create new accounts and keep coming after you anyway.

The source also said Flicker was appreciative of the advice and hugged Cohen when she left. The RHONJ star went on Twitter today and said Cohen was 100 percent right in his advice.

Flicker has dramatically slowed down her Twitter presence since Wednesday night but has not been able to stay off of the platform altogether. The author has not been able to stop commenting on co-star and RHONJ newcomer Margaret Josephs, as she continued to call the pigtailed fashion designer “classless.”

Since Season 8 of RHONJ debuted, Flicker has interacted with countless trolls on social media who thrived off her responses. Many of Flicker’s interactions happened in the comment sections of her original posts.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
