Octomom Nadya Suleman May Not Attend AVN Awards

Although her first venture into the world of pornographic entertainment has been nominated for no less than four awards, Octomom Nadya Suleman may not attending the Adult Video News Awards next month.

According to The Huffington Post, Suleman’s manager Gina Rodriguez said the embattled mother of 14 probably won’t attend the AVN Awards ceremony in Las Vegas in January. Fans who are making the trip to Nevada next month might be sorely disappointed.

Suleman’s very first pornographic film, the 2012 solo effort Octomom: Home Alone, has been nominated for a handful of awards at the forthcoming ceremony. In addition to “Best Celebrity Sex Tape,” the film has been tapped for “Best DVD Extras,” “Best Marketing Campaign” and “Best Solo Release.”

This news arrives in the wake of an official press release from the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo that states the actress would make an “exclusive appearance” at the event.

While Nadya Suleman may not be in attendance to accept any trophies she might win, the Octomom said she was excited that her motion picture had been nominated by Adult Video News.

“I’m very excited to attend the AVN Awards. I’ve never been to anything like that before so I’m really looking forward to it,” she explained.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Suleman had a positive experience on the set of Octomom: Home Alone. Before the feature was released to adult video stores across the country this summer, Suleman recounted her experiences to The Huffington Post.

She said at the time:

“My first shoot was amazing. Such a learning experience for me in so many ways. I don’t think I could have asked for a better crew to work with. They were so patient and willing to teach me. I owe a lot to Wicked Pictures contract star Jessica Drake; she opened my eyes to a whole different world of self-pleasure that I could have never imagined. They made me look so glamorous, and for the first time in my life, I felt beautiful and sexy. I’m very excited for it to come out!”

Although it’s currently being reported that Nadya Suleman won’t show up in Las Vegas to support Octomom: Home Alone at the AVN Awards on January 19, there’s always the chance she could change her mind at the last second.
