‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Fire Heals Families – Billy Back To Jabot, Victoria Back At Newman

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the fire at The Underground turns out to be a good thing for everyone except Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). From the ashes of the fire, the two great families of Genoa City will unite, for the most part, and heal some festering wounds. While many Y&R fans on social media remarked that they were tired of the CBS soap setting annual Halloween fire (remember the Top of the Tower inferno set by Ian Ward?), this blaze might be the best thing to come to GC in months.

Billy’s near death heals three brothers

Y&R spoilers promise that the near-death of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) offers a chance for lots of brotherly healing. On Friday’s episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Young and the Restless spoilers advance recap by She Knows Soaps says that Jack forces his way into the smoldering ruins to help save Billy. In the smoke and ash, Billy offers a sincere apology for stealing Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni). This display of remorse is way overdue and welcomed by Jack.

In turn, Jack tells Billy he should have forgiven him long ago because their dad John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) would want him to let go of his anger. They have a big bro bonding moment, but Billy also gets close to his step-brother Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) this week. Even though Cane and Billy don’t share blood, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) considers them her sons and doesn’t like them feuding. Billy moves in with Cane at the Chancellor mansion next week since Phyllis kicked him out before the fire.

Blaze paves the way for Newman healing too

The face mask poisoning could have taken down Brash & Sassy, and Billy confesses to everyone it was his fault on today’s Young and the Restless. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stands by, ready to take B&S back into the fold at Newman Enterprises, and Victoria agrees, but first fires Billy since he’s the one that nearly ruined her company. With Cane and Billy both gone from Brash & Sassy, maybe now Victoria can enjoy some hard-won success. Vikki and Victor hammer out a deal and then she’s back at Newman soon.

But what about Billy? He’s done at B&S, but reconciled with Jack and Young and the Restless spoilers and rumors hint that Jack soon invites Billy back into the family business. Will Billy accept? He did just hack the Jabot servers, but Billy also has a new perspective on life now that he almost lost his. No doubt Jill will open the door at Chancellor too, but with Cane acting as CEO, maybe Billy will join him at Jill’s company. Either way, Billy’s got a fresh start in the wake of the fire and may rise like a phoenix.

Nick and Reed are out of luck

The two hardest hit by the aftermath of the blaze, according to Young and the Restless spoilers from Soap Central, are Nick and Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu). Nick just gave away a big chunk of his fortune, lost his bar, and is now untethered. Plus, he angered Victor, who vowed he wouldn’t bail Nick out no matter what happens to him. Next week, Nick decides it’s time for a new direction in his life, but what’s next? Maybe he’ll work for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Clair Egan) at her design firm!

Another Y&R character down in the dumps after the fire is Reed. Cane and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) form a united front and decide he’s a bad influence and ban the twins from socializing with Reed. This upsets him, but he knows he was wrong for breaking into the bar. Will Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) accept the punishment or sneak around with Reed behind their backs? There’s also the matter of who started the blaze, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) and whether anyone will discover the truth.
