Kailyn Lowry’s Baby Daddy Chris Lopez Is Taking ‘A Break’ From Social Media After Calling ‘Teen Mom 2’ ‘Fake’

Kailyn Lowry’s baby daddy, Chris Lopez, is taking a break from Twitter and Instagram after dissing her and her producers for making him look bad on the “fake” Teen Mom 2.

As fans may have seen earlier this week, Chris Lopez took to Twitter to label the MTV series as “fake” after watching Kailyn Lowry talk to a friend about how he cheated on her and allegedly missed an ultrasound appointment. Lopez also called the producers “sneaky” for capturing an image of him for the show.

Throughout the past couple of seasons, Chris Lopez has been a focal point of Kailyn Lowry’s storyline, but because he has refused to appear on the show, he is only seen with his face blurred out during scenes with his former girlfriend. That hasn’t stopped fans from harassing him online, and he’s been accused of being a deadbeat dad.

“Imma take a break from social media,” he wrote to his fans and followers on November 1.

Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez split soon after she learned she was expecting, but after their son, Lux Russell, was born in August, they seemed to rekindle a friendship for the sake of their child as they began to co-parent. Months later, their relationship has taken a turn for the worse, and on Twitter, Lopez recently hinted that he wasn’t seeing his child as much as he would like.

Kailyn Lowry started dating Chris Lopez in 2016 after announcing the end of her marriage to Javi Marroquin in May of that year. However, despite a whirlwind romance with Lopez, they ultimately parted ways, and Lowry was forced to go through the majority of her pregnancy alone.

Kailyn Lowry is also mom to two older sons, seven-year-old Isaac and three-year-old Lincoln, who she shares with her former partners Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin, respectively.

To see more of Kailyn Lowry and her co-stars, including Maci Bookout, Ryan Edwards, Taylor McKinney, Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Gary Shirley, tune into the Teen Mom OG Season 7 premiere on November 27 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
