Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have never officially confirmed their relationship status, but talks about them taking their romance to the next level have been making its rounds on the internet. However, a new report revealed that Tom Cruise’s ex still might not be ready to display her relationship with the Sleepless actor in public to avoid bad luck.

The 38-year-old actress and her reported new beau are certainly one of those notoriously private couples in Hollywood. Despite being a public figure since she was a teenager, Katie Holmes prefers to keep her personal life as private as possible, and that includes her romance with Jamie Foxx.

“They’ve tried to stay as quiet as possible because they don’t want to ruin things,” an insider told Us Weekly. “The second they confirm they’re together, it opens the gates for criticism.”

With her very public split from Tom Cruise, it appears that Katie Holmes has learned her lesson when it comes to privacy. The Dawson’s Creek star was reportedly content with hiding her romance with Jamie Foxx in the 49-year-old actor’s gated estate outside of Los Angeles. However, the source revealed that the mom of Suri Cruise was already “tired of playing that game.”

Although their relationship appears to be heading in the right direction, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were bombarded with breakup rumors after reports revealed that the White House Down actor was cheating on Tom Cruise’s ex-wife.

Previous reports claimed that Jamie Foxx “betrayed” Katie Holmes by being allegedly involved with a Russian mistress. As if that’s not enough, Radar Online has previously reported that Jamie was caught partying with Eva Longoria and spending the night with friends in New York City.

Although there is nothing unusual with Hollywood celebrities hanging out once in awhile, what made their outing allegedly intriguing was that the outlet claims that Jamie Foxx and Eva Longoria were “getting very flirty” with each other. On top of that, the Desperate Housewives star is very much married to Jose Baston and even rumored to be pregnant with their first child together.

But before people start to believe that Jamie Foxx is bound to break Katie’s heart into pieces, Gossip Cop quickly slammed both malicious reports. The outlet has reached out to the actor’s rep, who denied all allegations. The rep called the recent claims complete fabrications.
