‘Teen Mom’: Kailyn Lowry & Catelynn Lowell Share Parenting Struggles

Teen Mom stars Kailyn Lowry and Catelynn Lowell both took to their social media accounts on Thursday to share a similar parenting struggle that they both deal with on a regular basis, reminding fans about why they can relate to the stars of the show so much.

Kailyn Lowry, who is the mother of three boys, Isaac, Lincoln, and baby Lux, tweeted about her youngest son finally sleeping through the night. Kail gushed over little Lux’s accomplishment via Twitter and revealed that she was very happy about the extra sleep both she and her new son got over the course of the night. However, the Teen Mom 2 star also says she’s “crying” because she knows it won’t last.

Kailyn is an experienced mom, and as a single woman, she often deals with the struggles of parenting alone. Lowry has expressed the difficulty of being a single mother to her fans in the past, and many of them can relate as they are also single moms. However, Lowry has her baby daddies to lean on, as well as a close-knit group of friends who are often by her side to offer her love and support.

Meanwhile, Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is also dealing with a sleep issue when it comes to her daughter, Nova. As many viewers know, Nova is Catelynn and her husband, Tyler Baltierra’s second child. The couple’s oldest daughter, Carly, was placed for adoption when the two were teenagers. Their adoption story was featured heavily on the MTV series, but it has shifted to them parenting little Nova, who will be three come the first of the year.

Catelynn Lowell told her Twitter followers on Thursday morning that Nova loves to wake up early, and while it has become a custom for the preschooler to do so, she actually broke her own record this morning by waking up to greet the day at 4 a.m. The Teen Mom OG star used the hashtag “#crazykid” to share her humor and struggle with her daughter’s sleeping habits.

It looks like Kailyn Lowry and Catelynn Lowell are dealing with a common problem that all moms go through, and they are doing it with a sense of humor along the way. Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG both air Monday nights on MTV.
