Jessa Duggar Fights ‘Counting On’ Cancellation With Kids’ Update, Wedding Anniversary News And Husband

Jessa Duggar and her older sister, Jill Duggar, started the spin-off show, Counting On, when the public found out that her older brother Josh Duggar molested them. This was around the time that the two sisters were getting married and starting their own families, and their lives helped them differentiate themselves from the family that their parents raised. Recently, their show has suffered from bad rating, and as cancellation rumors fly, Jessa is doing her best to keep her fans interested in the show by giving updates on her life.

The 24-year-old may be a mother of two baby boys, but she has only been married to Ben Seewald for three years. To celebrate their wedding anniversary, she took to Instagram to write a 900-word letter to her husband, letting him know just how much she appreciates him.

“Sure, we worked through our squabbles and disagreements, like anyone else. But because of your meekness and gentleness in the midst of trials, I always come out loving you even more,” she wrote on the family blog.

Her parents, who also know that Counting On may not return for another season, played up Jessa and Ben’s anniversary on the family Facebook page.

“Happy 3rd Anniversary! You are an incredible ministry team together,” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar wrote. “You both love investing in the lives of others and encouraging them to follow Jesus. You both have a servant’s heart and are a great example to the rest of us.”

Jessa Duggar managed to avoid many of the dramas and scandals that her siblings often find themselves in. While Jill Duggar faces a lot of criticism for her husband’s political views and Joy-Anna Duggar is questioned for getting pregnant before her wedding, Jessa has been lauded for being a good mother and showing a more truthful side to parenting.

Another reason that the mother of Spurgeon and Henry has been able to avoid drama is because her husband, Ben Seewald, keeps a pretty low profile in public. While he has both Instagram and Twitter account, he never says anything polemic and has never asked for donations from Counting On fans.

The last time that the 24-year-old made news was with her confessions about how hard it is to be a mother, housekeeper, and a wife.

The picture with diapers piled high on the table drew some attention from the fans, who thought that was an unhygienic way of dealing with baby’s refuse. She clarified in an another Instagram update that she immediately disposed of them after the picture was taken.
