Jennifer Garner Disgusted Over Ben Affleck, Refuses Having Meaningless Flings
Jennifer Garner had tried her best to save her marriage with Ben Affleck, but she finally gave up on him and filed for a divorce a few months ago. The 45-year-old actress was allegedly disgusted with her cheating and alcoholic husband that she took a vow of chastity. A source revealed to Radar Online that she banned sex on herself because she wants her next date to be meaningful.
“Jen says she’s in no rush, but you have to feel sorry for her,” an insider said. “This is a highly sexual, beautiful woman who hasn’t had any physical fun in some time!”
After Garner filed for a divorce from Affleck, he started going out in public with his new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. A source revealed to ET that the two have been seeing each other for years when they were still married to their respective partners. However, a source close to the actor claimed that the Justice League star and the Saturday Night Live producer got romantic after he got separated from his estranged wife in 2015.
While Ben continues to flaunt his relationship with Lindsay, Jennifer prefers going out on girls’ nights out with her close pals, including Reese Witherspoon and Chelsea Handler. A source revealed that some of her friends think she would feel better if she had a meaningless fling, but she hates the idea of being with someone whom she didn’t care about.
Jennifer reportedly enjoys going out and having a few drinks with her girlfriends, but she gets really shy when they try to set her up with someone. Garner has been out of the dating game for so long that’s why she has allegedly forgotten how to flirt. A source revealed that things with her and Affleck were so toxic during the latter part of their relationship that they lost intimacy.
Now that she is single again, the former Alias star prefers to spend her time taking care of her three children with Ben – Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5 – instead of going out on dates. Fans were thrilled when Jennifer Garner was romantically linked to Chris Pine a few months ago. The Inquisitr previously reported that the two have been secretly dating for a while.
An insider revealed to Hollywood Life that they meet up when their schedules allow and that they continue to get more attracted to each other. The brunette beauty and the Star Trek actor have reportedly met at a charity event in 2011 and there is instant chemistry between them.
Jennifer and Chris allegedly had the same sense of humor and talked all the time, but she was still married to Ben at that time. Since Garner isn’t into flings, then Pine may just be the guy that she is waiting for to build a meaningful relationship.
