The Weeknd: Selena Gomez Blindsided Him With Split Before Justin Bieber Reconciliation, Singer Devastated

The Weeknd reportedly had no idea that he was not only being dumped by Selena Gomez but that she had also been spending a lot of time with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

According to a report, via Radar Online, its sources heavily contradicts other reports which claim that The Weeknd was the one who called the shots and decided to part ways with the songstress.

Supposedly, The Weeknd had thought that all was well between him and Selena until he would go on to find out that the “Come & Get It” hitmaker had been spending a significant amount of time with her former partner.

In the midst of finding out that the duo had been getting cozy together in Los Angeles, The Weeknd learns that he had also been dumped by Gomez, for reasons that now seem to be over her reconciliation with Bieber.

Sources tell Radar Online that The Weeknd was caught off guard by the split because their relationship had been going rather well.

It was just weeks ago when Selena had credited her now ex-boyfriend for helping her get through her struggle with Lupus, adding that during her kidney transplant surgery over the summer, The Weeknd was the most supportive boyfriend.

It seems that the “Starboy” singer wasn’t the only one stunned by the split and the fact that Selena had been spending time with Justin. Fans were just as surprised to see the duo together again after having spent more than two years apart.

Sources are claiming that Justin and Selena just can’t get enough of one another. No matter who they go on to date and how long that relationship might last, the one thing that always seems to remain is their love for one another, and the feelings never change.

Family and friends have questioned The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend what is going on between her and JB, to which the songstress has responded to by saying the twosome are nothing more than good friends.

Of course, that’s something everyone close to Selena is finding hard to believe, with reports claiming that the former couple is already trying to make things work between one another again.
