Pregnant Jessica Alba Wears ‘Juno’ Costume At Kelly Rowland’s Halloween Party

A pregnant Jessica Alba decided on a unique Halloween costume that accessorized perfectly with her burgeoning baby bump. The 36-year-old cosmetics mogul dressed as Juno, the pregnant teenager portrayed by Ellen Page in the comedy movie of the same name.

Cash Warren, Alba, and her crew attended Ciroc’s Los Angeles Costume Couture Celebration Halloween party with Lenny S. and Kelly Rowland.

Before the event, Jessica Alba posted an Instagram Story photo of herself in the Halloween costume standing with her friend Kelly Sawyer. Alba’s friend dressed as the father of Juno’s baby. Michael Cera took on the role as Juno’s classmate named Paulie.

Jessica and Kelly mimicked the same pose that Ellen Paige and Michael Cera struck on the poster for the Jason Reitman film. In the iconic poster, Juno stood in a profile position with her hand at her waist and her head toward the camera. On the other hand, the awkward Paulie stood entirely facing the viewers, with his right arm lifted to scratch the side of his head.

The 2007 movie Juno won Diablo Cody an Academy Award For Best Original Screenplay and also snagged nominations for Ellen and Jason, as well as for Best Picture.

On Wednesday, Alba revealed that she was having a baby boy. Back in July, the actress and Honest Company co-founder announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a GIF.

Jessica Alba Reveals Her Reasons For Wanting A Son

Jessica and Cash Warren were married in 2008 and have two daughters, Honor and Haven. Alba, who is due to welcome her son in the next few months, took to Instagram to make the announcement.

In the Instagram photo, Jessica’s daughter Honor, 9, held a balloon shaped as number one and Haven, 6, had a balloon shaped as the number two. Alba was seen caressing her visible bump and lifting a similar balloon which was shaped as the number three.

After announcing the family’s happy news, Alba revealed that she is hoping for a special and unique bond with her son.

On Monday, Alba stopped by The Rachael Ray Show and opened up to Ray about her pregnancy. Jessica also dished on the opinions that Haven Garner and Honor Marie have on their soon-to-arrive baby brother.

“My 6-year-old, she was worried about being a middle child, but she gets to be a big sister and a little sister, so she’s stoked about that… And she doesn’t have to compete with another girl.”

Alba didn’t reveal whether the idea of having a boy was influenced by husband Cash Warren’s desire to add to their family, according to People magazine. However, Jessica is looking forward to having a son.

“For me… the girls love their dad. I wanted someone to love me more… When he comes home, they’re like, ‘Daddy!’ It’s like a party.”

Alba joked, “When I come home, they’re like, ‘Oh, hey Mom.’ ” Jessica continued with the talk show host, “I’m like, ‘I do everything for you! I cook, I do all the things!'”

Jessica jokingly admitted that she “100 percent” steals Halloween candy from her daughters.

“One of the best parts of having a kid is stealing from them and torturing them, embarrassing them. It’s so fun!”

Alba most recently appeared as a judge alongside Gwyneth Paltrow on the Apple Music summer series Planet of the Apps.
