Jacqueline Laurita doesn’t like the direction The Real Housewives of New Jersey is heading.
According to a November 1 report by All About the Real Housewives, Jacqueline Laurita recently took to her Twitter account and shared a couple of tweets about the show’s focus and its allegedly dwindling ratings.
After seeing that fans of the show were talking negatively about Season 8, Jacqueline Laurita tweeted, “I’m hearing that a LOT. It’s unfortunate. It used to be about family, fun and relatable issues.”
She then took aim at the ratings on the eighth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, stating, “I’m sad to see how far the ratings have dropped this year! We worked so hard last year bringing them up!”
Jacqueline Laurita isn’t appearing on Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey at all. Earlier this year, she told Entertainment Tonight that her absence on the show was the result of Bravo feeling that she no longer had relevant relationships with her co-stars, including Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
Jacqueline Laurita is no longer close to the majority of the Bravo reality cast, but she is close friends with Siggy Flicker and has applauded her persona on the show on Twitter numerous times. Most recently, Laurita defended Flicker to her fans and followers by saying that she is sensitive and emotional because she has a heart.
After the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jacqueline Laurita was removed from the cast as former housewife Dina Manzo returned. However, after Manzo’s returned failed to capture the desired viewers for the season, Laurita was brought back as a part-time member of the cast midway through production and ahead of Season 7, her full-time role was reinstated.
Jacqueline Laurita has been vocal about her thoughts on the reality show ever since she left the series earlier this year but has claimed on numerous occasions that she is not watching. Instead, she’s keeping an eye on her fans’ social media comments.
