Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Reportedly Growing Even Closer As They Try For A Baby

After two years together, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani still aren’t expecting a baby, but that doesn’t mean the couple isn’t trying. Just the thought of having a child together is making their relationship stronger, and according to Adam Levine, “they’re so in love it’s disgusting.”

Baby rumors have surrounded the superstar couple almost from the beginning of their relationship, and according to a source at Hollywood Life, they would love nothing more than to get pregnant. However, even though it hasn’t happened yet, the common goal of having a baby is bringing the pair closer than they have ever been.

The insider claims that it has become an inside joke between Shelton and Stefani; and if they ever disagree, they just start talking about having a baby. Apparently, Shelton’s sense of humor relieves any tension because he can make Stefani laugh.

“They love to play argue over baby names — Blake picks names like Billy Bob or Rusty, and she, of course, wants hip names like Stella and Emma,” the source explained.

Stefani’s sons like to get involved and share their ideas, too. It is rumored that 11-year-old Kingston reportedly likes names from Minecraft.

The singers have been trying to get pregnant for at least a year and would like to be expecting by this time next year. And since she already has three sons, the 48-year-old would like her fourth baby to be a girl.

The happy couple, who met when they were both coaches on The Voice, started dating after they each went through very public divorces. In July of 2015, Shelton split from Miranda Lambert, and just a month later, Stefani filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale after he cheated with their nanny.

Maroon 5 lead singer and fellow Voice judge Levine joked with Howard Stern that the two are so in love “it’s a whole other level of vomit.” He says the two met at an interesting time in their lives, but their love is real and beautiful.

According to People Magazine, Levine went on to say that Stefani is “the greatest,” and it’s not right that Shelton gets to be with her. He shared that the two kept their relationship a secret for a long time, then one night when they were all at dinner in New York the two kissed in front of him, and Levine exclaimed, “I f***ing knew it!”
