Arie Luyendyk is only halfway through filming Season 22 of The Bachelor, and there’s already one contestant that’s stealing the show. Rebecca Kufrin has emerged as the clear frontrunner this season, and an insider close to production believes it would be a shock if Luyendyk doesn’t hand her his final rose.
According to Life & Style, the source shared the news via Reddit and explained that Kufrin has been the frontrunner for a while now. Although producers are still filming the hometown dates, the insider named Kufrin as the heavy favorite going into the final portion of the season. This doesn’t mean that Luyendyk will pick Kufrin in the end, but it sounds like she has already won his heart.
Bachelor Nation has responded positively to the news that Kufrin will win this season. One fan even revealed that they noticed that Luyendyk and Kufrin shared a lot of chemistry during an outing in Los Angeles last month. Unfortunately, ABC has not released the official cast list for the upcoming season, and we still don’t know a lot about this year’s rumored winner.
However, we do know that Kufrin is from Minneapolis and works as an account executive at Skyya. She is 27-years-old and graduated from Minnesota State University with a degree in mass communications. All of her social media accounts have been deactivated, presumably because of her involvement on the show, so little else is known about her personal life.
While we wait to learn more about Kufrin and the rest of the cast, Elite Daily reports that ABC just released a new promo trailer for Luyendyk’s season, and fans are completely freaking out. As some fans may recall, Luyendyk first appeared on The Bachelorette back in 2014. He made it pretty far in Emily Maynard’s season but fell short to winner Jeff Holm, who actually split with Maynard a few months after the finale.
There’s no telling how Luyendyk will handle being in the spotlight, but it sounds like things are getting off to a hot start. The new season of The Bachelor is scheduled to premiere in January on ABC.
