WWE ‘Monday Night Raw’ Spoilers For October 30 As Emma Is Cut From ‘Raw’ Roster

The WWE network is building up to the Survivor Series PPV, so we can expect tonight’s Monday Night Raw to continue its promotion of one of the most important events on the WWE calendar. As WWE wrestling fans know, the Survivor Series pitches the Raw and SmackDown rosters against each other, so we can expect the upcoming promos to feature Raw vs. SmackDown clashes. As reported by the Inquisitr last week, Monday Night Raw saw Shane McMahon lead the blue team in an all-out locker room assault on the Raw roster.

Those who expected the red team to respond to that attack on last week’s SmackDown Live were to be disappointed, but we can be sure of more fireworks on this week’s shows. As reported by the Daily Mirror, perhaps the first surprise for this week was yesterday’s announcement that WWE star Emma has been cut from the Raw roster, just one week after losing to Asuka on last TLC PPV. Emma joins Darren Young and Summer Rae, who were also released from their WWE contracts. No reason was given for their release, which was announced in a two-line statement.

“WWE has come to terms on the releases of WWE Superstars Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae.

“WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.”

As usual, the official WWE website doesn’t give much away about this week’s Monday Night Raw. They offer a few teasers on how the Raw roster will respond to last week’s SmackDown invasion and whether there will be any title changes before Survivor Series. There is also a teaser about who will be next to face returning superstar Kane.

The smart money is on a clash between Kane and Braun Strowman. After all, Kane and Strowman attacked each other during the TLC PPV, despite being on the same team. That event ended with Strowman being unceremoniously dumped in a garbage truck by his teammates. WWE rumors have been suggesting that Strowman’s popularity is leading him to a possible face turn and Kane would be the ideal heel to take forward that storyline.

As reported by Wrestling News, WWE insider Dave Meltzer suggests that Nia Jax will be back on Monday Night Raw before heading off for the WWE tour to Europe. The same outlet suggests that Vince McMahon is considering Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a “special referee” for the clash between Jinder Mahal and Brock Lesnar match at Survivor Series. Tonight’s Monday Night Raw may see some development in that storyline.

We are unlikely to see Roman Reigns return to the ring tonight. Reigns has been ill, reportedly with viral meningitis, and was forced to cancel an appearance at TLC, which would have seen the reunion of The Shield. Reigns is unlikely to have recovered sufficiently to compete on Raw tonight.

Finn Balor is currently enjoying a push on Monday Night Raw. As reported by Sportskeeda, Balor’s defeat of AJ Styles at TLC was lauded as one of the best matches on WWE television all year. Therefore, we can probably expect Balor to have a major role to play on this week’s Monday Night Raw.
