The next season of Little People, Big World featuring Jackson's homecoming and the birth of his cousin, Ember Jean Roloff, will not premiere anytime soon, Matt Roloff hinted in a recent Facebook post.
The Roloff family threw open its famous farm to visitors during the pumpkin-picking season that ended Saturday. The farm has become increasingly popular over the years, proportional to the growing popularity of the TLC show Little People, Big World. While letting his Facebook followers know that this year's pumpkin season was one for the "record books," Matt Roloff also said some of the activities on the farm will be featured in the next LPBW season.
"Last day of pumpkin season tomorrow... Happy and sad at the same time. It was a season for the the record books. Good news is... All of you that weren't able to make it will get to see a peek of what happened on upcoming episodes of LPBW Sometime this winter/spring."
The previous season of Little People, Big world ended in a two-hour special featuring the birth of Jackson Roloff. About a week before last season's finale, Amy Roloff had said fans should see more of the family in September. Many thought Amy's post was a hint to the airing of next season. Though September was an eventful month for the Roloffs, with the arrival of Jeremy and Audrey Roloff's baby, Ember Jean, the new season of Little People, Big World did not premiere.
It is likely that TLC had not finished filming for the season by August. The announcement for the pumpkin-picking season on Roloff Farms website suggests family members were actively filming for LPBW during September and October.
Matt Roloff had also revealed in September that a TLC crew was still filming. In a video Matt made for Little People, Big World fans, he allowed a glimpse at his book that was released earlier this month. The crew filmed the reading event and subsequent launch of the book.
Besides the book launch, homecoming of Jackson, and birth of Ember Jean Roloff, other major events fans can catch include Audrey and Jeremy setting up their home in Portland, Matt and Amy's new relationships, and final days of Audrey's pregnancy.
Talking about relationships, Roloff daughter Molly tied the knot with Joel Silvius in August. While the Roloff clan did not abstain from sharing lots of wedding photos with its fans, it is not known if the wedding itself will be telecast, given Molly's preference to live life away from LPBW cameras. Little People, Big World airs on Tuesdays.
