Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth ‘Shotgun’ Wedding Rumors: Family Friend Gives Their Take
Fans and critics of the Duggar family have been closely following Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth since she announced her pregnancy in August. While there is nothing particularly abnormal about a Duggar announcing that they are expecting a baby months after getting married, some fans noted that Joy-Anna looked further along than the three months she claimed to be.
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth broke the news to People magazine that she was expecting a baby with her husband in late August. But not only did the expectant mother look a lot bigger than most women at three months, but she also stated that she felt the baby kick. Several doctors noted that most women don’t feel fetal movement until they are much further along.
Recently, an unverified Reddit user stated they were a close family friend of the Duggars and would answer any questions people had about them in what is known as an AMA (or “Ask Me Anything”). Fans and critics alike were eager to ask as many questions as possible about the media’s favorite mega family.
The Redditer was asked if they believe that Joy-Anna Duggar got pregnant before her wedding night as many believe. Although this would not be a big deal for most, in the world of the Duggar family, a pregnancy before marriage would be huge.
The family friend answered that they did not believe that Joy-Anna Duggar, nor any other member of the family has engaged in premarital sex, despite rumors to the contrary. The poster also does not believe that any of the children have even kissed before marriage, which is also a big rule for the Duggar family.
According to the poster, none of the children have rebelled against their family in a meaningful way and they are all still Christian and attend church out of their own volition. They stated that some members of the family have their own beliefs, such as Jinger Duggar Vuolo, who most notably has worn pants since her marriage. The poster also stated that many of the adult members of the family have made the decision to watch media or read books that are not explicitly Christian.
