‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Judi Evans Explains Justin And Adrienne, Lucas Claims He Has Moved On

Days Of Our Lives spoilers for November sweeps indicate that Adrienne ends up with her ex-husband, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth.) In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Judi Evans explained the storyline and what makes Justin “still the one.” However, fans might be surprised to find out that Adrienne does not make this choice. Instead, it is Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) who makes the decision.

Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) are the first group to travel to Memphis. Later, others will follow, including Adrienne. After she checks into a motel, she sees Lucas for the first times being freed from Statesville Prison.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Lucas and Adrienne talk. He begins to discuss Bonnie Lockhart and Adrienne tries to explain that Bonnie broke his heart, not her. A drunk Lucas isn’t sure he believes her, though. However, he soon realizes that Adrienne still loves him. Unfortunately, the damage that Bonnie created has already set certain things in place. They can’t get back what they had before the switch.

“Adrienne does admit that she still has feelings for Justin. It’s very difficult for Lucas. He’s not in a place where he can clearly process what Adrienne is telling him.”

To everyone’s surprise, Lucas informs Adrienne that he has moved on. This is really difficult for her, but she soon realizes that this might be a blessing in disguise. After all, her feelings for Justin never really went away. Plus, Justin was the first person she tried to reach out to when in prison. She also kissed her ex-husband when he came to rescue her.

“She did make the choice to be with him [Lucas] but with the recent developments, like Justin rescuing Adrienne, and the kiss they shared, she realizes that maybe it’s all for the best. She goes to see Justin and says that she would like a new start with him.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, head writer Ron Carlivati teased that Justin and Adrienne would get back together. Days Of Our Lives spoilers revealed that they were the couple with the history. He also explained that viewers had a rooting interest in Justin with Adrienne, not Lucas.
