‘Days of Our Lives’ Rumors: Could Orpheus Have Been The One Giving Orders To Dr. Rolf?

Days of Our Lives fans haven’t heard from Orpheus since his reign of terror over Salem with Clyde and Xander. With Stefano no longer around to instruct Dr. Rolf, could he be the one pulling the strings in the mystery surrounding Will Horton?

The following will contain spoilers for Days of Our Lives. If you don’t want to know what could be coming, this is the time to stop reading.

Orpheus’ cold heart is dead set on causing pain and suffering in Salem. Over the years in prison, his resentment has only intensified and his list of enemies seems to grow. Stefano always had Dr. Rolf under his control and used the shady doctor to help him execute some wicked schemes over the years. With Stefano’s death, however, could it be Orpheus who Dr. Rolf began working for on Days of Our Lives?

We know that Dr. Rolf is not one to break a confidence. When he was jailed, he was housed in the same prison as Clyde and Orpheus. Ben came to Salem to clear his name after he learned from his father that Will is not actually dead. The only way Clyde could know this is if Dr. Rolf told him, and the only way the evil doctor would tell is out of necessity, or if instructed to do so by his new boss, Orpheus.

Dr. Rolf recently committed suicide in front of Sami and Hope. This isn’t his first death, however. Years ago, he supposedly had died and when he unexpectedly returned, he told Stefano the death “didn’t take.” Days of Our Lives fans can only hope he resurrects once again as Will’s loved ones search for answers. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Dr. Rolf’s last day to air on Days of Our Lives is Halloween. This is no guarantee of a return to life, however. His last appearance could be in the form of a flashback.
