Will The Weeknd Apologize To Bella Hadid Over Selena Gomez Romance Amid Justin Bieber Reconciliation?

The Weeknd is reportedly planning to make amends with ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid in the midst of Selena Gomez having formed a new friendship with Justin Bieber, it’s been alleged.

The singer allegedly felt inspired by Justin’s act of starting over with his former flame, especially with the way things had ended between the duo following their split back in November.

When it was first made known that The Weeknd was seeing Selena, Bella was said to have been outraged because she had considered Gomez a dear friend, and the fact that she didn’t even get a heads up made things so much worse.

It also didn’t help that Bella and The Weeknd reportedly decided to take a break from one another but never officially parted ways from one another, so the sudden decision to move on with the “Come & Get It” singer was that much more of a blow to the supermodel.

According to Hollywood Life, The Weeknd wants to make things right with his ex-girlfriend, and now that he’s seen how well Selena and Justin are getting along, he thinks he can do the same with his former lover.

Sources tell the outlet that getting on good terms with the 21-year-old has been a goal of The Weeknd’s for some time now, particularly because he still cares for her and regrets the way things ended between the two.

He hopes that as they move forward with their lives, they can be friends the way that his girlfriend and Bieber have managed to make it work for themselves.

It doesn’t go unnoticed that The Weeknd and Hadid have the same group of friends, so a run-in would be extremely awkward if it came down to it.

Aside from that, though, The Weeknd feels it’s necessary to clear the air and make it known that he’s very apologetic and hopes they can remain friends from this point onward.

It’s unclear how Bella would feel about the idea, especially since she allegedly felt betrayed by her ex-boyfriend and Selena for leaving her in the dark about their romance, but only time will tell.
