Real Reason Why Nia Jax Walked Out Of WWE, Did The Rock Get Involved?
Nia Jax is not like most girls, and she made headlines last week when she pulled a Neville. Jax reportedly walked out of the WWE, but she did not ask for her release. She was upset about a couple of things and was subsequently given some time off. The latest reports have revealed that Jax walking out was influenced by her cousin and WWE legend, The Rock.
There were different reports about the real reason why Nia Jax was unhappy with the WWE, which led to her walking out of Monday Night Raw last week. Some news outlet noted that Nia was getting tired of the WWE schedule and just wanted to take some time off. Other speculations include Jax being unhappy with her pay and the way she has been booked in the past couple of months.
According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Nia Jax was particularly upset when she found out that she was losing to Sasha Banks at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs clean. The report added that Jax called her cousin, The Rock, who advised her to walk away because she is unhappy.
The WWE had no choice but to grant her some time off and change the plans for Banks. “The Boss” ended up facing and defeating Alicia Fox last Sunday. As for Jax, she got back on social media after a week of absence. She immediately inserted herself in the Raw vs. SmackDown feud by threatening her real-life cousin, Tamina, and SmackDown Live women’s champion Natalya.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer (h/t Wrestling Inc.) reported last week that Nia Jax is expected to be back on the WWE European Tour at the start of next month. The WWE is set to visit Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain from November 3 to November 12. Jax is also going to be part of the new season of Total Divas, along with her real-life friend, Alexa Bliss.
Speaking of Bliss, the reigning Raw women’s champion told the New York Post in an interview that Nia Jax is not on a leave of absence, but she is taking a time off. Bliss noted that she has talked to Jax a lot in the past few days and believes her good friend was just getting tired of the WWE’s grueling schedule.
We have talked about it a lot. Whatever she is going through, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a leave of absence. She’s taking some time off because our schedule is very grueling. It’s very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can’t do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired.”
And for those who do not know, The Rock had a lot of influence on Nia Jax. The Rock inspired Jax to pursue a career in the WWE after years in the modeling industry. Jax was signed to the WWE in 2014 and was called up to the main roster after just two years.
It should be noted that these are still just speculations at the moment. However, it is a good sign when Nia Jax is active on social media. Besides the shot at SmackDown Live, Jax promoted the new season of Total Divas.
