‘Dynasty’s’ Catherine Oxenberg Desperate To Save Daughter From Cult — Inheritance Gone To Cult Claims Actress

If you were a Dynasty fan then you remember Catherine Oxenberg. While Oxenberg navigated through all types of dilemmas on the Dynasty TV show, the real-life one she is facing today is tearing her apart. Catherine’s 26-year-old daughter, India, was the easiest of all her children to raise and someone who was a real joy to be around. Today she is in the clutches of a cult, claims Oxenberg, and she claims her daughter has already donated all her inheritance to this group called NXIVM.

Oxenberg’s daughter was the most nonconfrontational and sweetest person growing up but now she’s in the grips of this alleged cult, which is known for branding women her mother said. Today Oxenburg. 56, is pleading for the return of her daughter via her interview with People Magazine.

This cult has brainwashed her daughter, claims Oxenburg, who is desperate to get her back. According to the actress, this ordeal started with a mother-daughter bonding experience when she heard about the NXIVM program from a friend. It was described as a self-help program that promises to take people on a journey of “discovery” and “development,” which Oxenberg and her daughter attended back in 2011.

The mom and daughter attended the workshops, or classes, which Oxenberg found rather “weird” and “creepy,” but India enjoyed them and was soon spending all her time with the people from NXIVM, working alongside them. She spent more and more time with this group, recruited friends, and emptied her bank account of all her inheritance, reports her mom.

A former member of NXIVM warned Oxenberg that she needed to save India. She’s become part of the “secret sisterhood,” said Bonnie Piesse, who was once a member of this cult. According to Fox News, it wasn’t until Piesse talked with Oxenberg that she realized her daughter needed saving from the grips of this alleged cult. Up until this point, Oxenberg didn’t try and interfere with her daughter’s life, but now it is clear to the Dynasty star that she believes her daughter does need saving from this group.

A complaint that was filed by another former member of this alleged cult claimed that in order to become part of this secret sisterhood, the member needed to supply NXIVM with collateral. That collateral is in the form of something damaging against the member. It could be anything you don’t want to get out in public, like a nude photo or something you’ve kept secret from your past.

This complaint cited the former member saying she was given a tattoo by NXIVM and was told that this tattoo symbolized the elements. She later found out it was only just the initials for the names of the founding members of this group.
