‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Cheryl Burke Talks Love Matthew Lawrence, Has He Been On The ‘DWTS’ Set?
Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke reunited with former beau Matthew Lawrence nearly a year ago, and the two are still going strong. As DWTS fans surely remember, Cheryl and Matthew dated for a while about a decade ago, and they are back together and looking toward building a future together. Now, Burke is opening up about the support she gets from Lawrence and how much time he spends on the set of the show.
Viewers would typically be hard-pressed to see glimpses of Matthew Lawrence in the Dancing with the Stars audience each week. However, DWTS fans should not take that as a sign that this romance is fizzling out or there is trouble in paradise. Cheryl Burke told Us Weekly that Matthew is there every week to support her, but he hides out in the press room with her publicist or elsewhere away from the cameras.
In fact, Cheryl says that Matthew has been at the DWTS tapings every week, and he is supportive at home too. Burke says that Lawrence cooks her dinner, rubs her feet, and is all-around a great support system for her. It seems that he is also confident in being honest with the Dancing with the Stars pro in telling her what he thinks about her performances and the show.
Burke has had plenty of ups and downs over the years in the romance department, but she made it clear to Entertainment Tonight that she believes Lawrence is “the one” for her. Cheryl may be hitting the Dancing with the Stars dance floor with football star Terrell Owens this fall, but it’s Matthew who has captured her heart. Luckily, it sounds as if the low-key actor is a pro at understanding that the steamy moments on the dance floor are all for the sake of the performance.
Cheryl has shared quite a few pictures showing her with Matthew via her social media pages in recent months, but they have kept their romance relatively low-profile to a great extent. Despite that, they are very serious and seem to think that the second time together is a charm. Dancing with the Stars fans were heartbroken to see Burke and Lawrence split up after their initial romance, and they are thrilled that after all of these years, the two have found their way back to one another.
Burke and Terrell Owens are still battling for the win every Monday night on Dancing with the Stars, and Burke has also been appearing on Dance Moms on Lifetime on Tuesday nights. Will Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence end up married and having babies soon? They are heading in that direction, the DWTS pro has said, and they have a lot of fan support.
