Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik: Are They Ready To Wed After Joe Jonas Engagement?
Gigi Hadid is reportedly ready to get engaged to her boyfriend, Zayn Malik.
On the heels of the news of Gigi Hadid’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas’ engagement to Sophie Turner, a report claims that after two years of dating, the model is hoping to see her musician boyfriend get down on one knee and pop the question. That said, a Life & Style source claims Zayn Malik isn’t quite ready to settle down and instead prefers to focus on “conquering his demons,” which include struggles with anxiety.
“They’ve been dating for two years and have been living together,” the insider revealed. “Gigi feels that Zayn is the one, and is ready to take their relationship to the next level.”
Meanwhile, after opening up about his struggles with anxiety last year, Zayn Malik wants to work on improving his mental health before tying the knot. As the source explained, Malik is sure that his model girlfriend is “the one,” but when it comes to their future, he reportedly wants to wait at least one more year before getting engaged.
While the source made it clear that Gigi Hadid had gotten over her romance with Joe Jonas, they noted that hearing of his engagement made her realize that she wants the same level of commitment from her own boyfriend. Years ago, at just 20-years-old, Malik proposed to his former girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, of the girl group, Little Mix, but just two years later, the couple called it quits.
As fans may have noticed, Gigi Hadid appears to have a thing for musicians. In recent years, Gigi Hadid has dated a number of singers, including Cody Simpson, Joe Jonas, and now, Zayn Malik.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have kept their relationship fairly private in recent weeks, and while they attended a few red carpet events in the past, they haven’t been seen alongside one another at any events in recent months. They’ve also kept their social media photos of one another to a minimum recently, which sparked rumors of a breakup over the summer.
No word yet on a comment from Gigi Hadid or Zayn Malik regarding the latest rumor about their potential future engagement.
