Texas Mom Finds Photos, Videos Of Man Allegedly Raping Her Daughter On Tablet, Jose Trinidad Gonzalez Arrested

A Texas woman found photos and videos of a man allegedly raping her daughter on his tablet, and a family friend is now in jail in connection with this crime, Fox News is reporting.

Jose Trinidad Gonzalez, 35, stands accused of rape, child pornography, and a host of other charges after the woman, whose name has not been provided due to the nature of this alleged crime, found the damning media in the “Deleted Photos” folder on his tablet.

Authorities say that Gonzalez was a family friend who would often visit and play with the victim and her siblings. The mother, on a whim, decided to take a look at his tablet to see what games Gonzalez was playing with the kids. When she opened the “Deleted Photos” folder on his tablet, the first thing she saw was a closeup photo of a young female’s genitals; presumably her daughter’s. The mother also found a video of a man, allegedly Gonzalez, raping the young girl.

The mother called the police, who arrested Gonzalez. He was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography. As of this writing, he remains in the Bexar County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

As of this writing, authorities have not made clear how Gonzalez, his alleged victim, and her family all knew each other.

This is not the first case of sexual abuse of children to be reported by The Inquisitr recently.

As reported earlier this month, Anngela Boyle was sentenced to 30 years in prison for her role in a plot to produce child pornography.

In 2015, authorities closed in on Boyle’s husband, Colin, after electronic evidence indicated that he was accessing and sharing child pornography from a computer in his home. After investigating, authorities determined that Colin and Anngela had both been producing child pornography and sending sexually-explicit photos and videos to one another.

Specifically, authorities found sexually-explicit media depicting a one-year-old child and a four-year-old child, although authorities did not say how the couple knew the children. Anngela would later say that she produced the child pornography for her husband, saying that he could not be sexually aroused unless he was viewing images and videos of children.
