Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus dating rumors have finally been put to rest as Kailyn Lowry’s ex-husband opens up about the real score between him and his fellow Teen Mom 2 star with whom he shared a deep friendship with that blossomed into something more.

There had been much talk about Javi’s love life ever since she and Kailyn divorced earlier this year. Fortunately, Lincoln’s 24-year-old father finally found his “bae” despite a number of hitches along the way.

There had been rumors that he was getting back with the 25-year-old Hustle and Heart author after the two participated in Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. However, the Teen Mom 2 dad is officially clarifying his intentions and finally confirmed Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus dating rumors.

In an interview with People, the 24-year-old TV personality admitted that he and his MTV co-star developed a relationship with the 23-year-old mother-of-two. According to the reality TV star, he and Briana “decided to make it official” when they reunited in Los Angeles for the reunion special of the popular reality TV series. He then went to recall how their relationship blossomed from a long-standing friendship to something more.

“We are dating. We’ve been friends for a while and we weren’t in a rush.”

Prior to this announcement, Javi and Briana have become subject of fan speculations as they spark dating rumors by posting social media photos together.

While the images appeared to be completely harmless, fans of the Teen Mom 2 stars started shipping their love team. The rumor mill seemed to have started churning in September after Javi posted an image on Instagram with Briana and her sister, Brittney, with his arm draped over the reality TV star’s shoulder.

Based on the series of images, the Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus dating confirmation may have been a long time coming but they just recently started spending time with each other’s children.

As for his relationship with his baby mama, Javi seemed content with their harmonious co-parenting with Kailyn Lowry based on a sweet message he shared on the photo-sharing platform about his ex-wife and their three-year-old son, Lincoln Marshall.

Of course, there were still those who wished that the image he shared was a hint that he and the 25-year-old mother-of-three were getting back together– all of whom would be disappointed after learning about Javi’s confession.
