Worlds Largest Cruise Ship “Oasis Of The Seas” Takes Maiden Voyage

Towering over any other currently commissioned cruised ship at 16 decks high, 1200 feet long and 220,000 gross tons, the newest Royal Caribbean luxury cruiser “Oasis Of The Seas” has set sail on it’s maiden voyage.

The Oasis of The Seas is a $1.5 billion cruise ship that comes in as the largest passenger ship in the world and is currently traveling from Finland to Miami on it’s maiden trip.

The ship is large enough to carry nearly 6,000 passengers and is 50% larger than the Queen Mary II, the next closest cruiser outside of the Royal Caribbean line in terms of size.
