Trump Golfs Again: Trump’s Golf Count Up To 69 Times, Cost To Taxpayers Approximately $73,562,041

President Donald Trump and his golf outings have been gaining a lot off buzz on social media this weekend. As seen in the above photo, President Trump was photographed on Saturday, October 14, the day Trump played golf with Senator Lindsey Graham. It was the second time on one week that Trump played with Graham. According to ABC News, Trump and Graham traveled on Saturday morning to the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. It was the same golf club where the duo golfed on Monday. The White House also admitted that Trump would be golfing, when White House press secretary Lindsay Walters told the press about Trump’s plans to golf on Saturday.

“The President will be golfing with Senator Graham today.”

President Trump recovered from his golf outing by standing around in the First Lady’s garden of the White House on Saturday, as seen in the below photo. Graham, meanwhile, had bragged on Twitter about Trump’s score in inclement weather.

“Really enjoyed a round of golf with President @realDonaldTrump today. President Trump shot a 73 in windy and wet conditions!”

Trump would golf again on Sunday, October 15 — this time with Rand Paul, according to the Hill. According to TrumpGolfCount.com, Trump’s golf count has risen to 69 golf club visits since he became president, with an estimated cost to U.S. taxpayers rising to approximately $73,562,041.

With Trump’s golf outings rising in number, the reaction on Twitter to Trump is both brutal and frustrating. Folks are asking how Trump can afford to golf so frequently when average working people cannot. The irony of how some Republicans hated when former President Barack Obama golfed — but are fine when Trump golfs — is being captured in Twitter moments like the one below, which asked what has changed in viewpoints about golfing presidents.

Whereas the estimated golfing trips that President Trump has taken since becoming president vary from 67 to 72, due to the White House not confirming each trip, what is a sore spot pointed out by social media users is the costs associated with such frequent golf trips. Twitter users are noting the plethora of world problems that they would like to see Trump address and prioritize over golfing.
