WWE Rumors & Spoilers: Breezeango’s Attackers Revealed On ‘SmackDown’ Episode

The ongoing saga of WWE’s Fashion Police and the identities of who attacked them at Battleground may finally have been revealed to fans this past week. The duo has been running an investigation for weeks now, using various segments in which they parody popular detective shows. So far, they’ve done just about everything, from Miami Vice to Twin Peaks and The X-Files. However, during all of that, the pair dubbed “Breezango” has been unable to solve the case of who their mystery attackers were. A major revelation or two may have occurred from the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view and the latest SmackDown Live episode, though.

It was reported this past week via PWTorch in their SmackDown results from Michigan that a lot of tag teams were featured on the latest installment of the show. Among the teams showing up were New Day, The Usos, The Ascension, The Hype Bros, as well as the team of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. Breezango was also involved. Those teams were all featured in an early segment, with Daniel Bryan booking a multiple tag team match to determine new No. 1 contenders for The Usos. Gable and Benjamin went on to win the match, providing the tag team champions with some new competition. However, none of the teams involved in this match seem to be the mystery attackers.

However, a simple clue may have been revealed at this past Sunday’s Hell in a Cell. The Ascension showed up during the PPV as part of the latest backstage Fashion Police segment. This time around, they visited Breezango’s office wearing disguises and handed a new box to Fandango and Tyler Breeze. That box was marked “2B,” and The Ascension also gave a rolled-up poster to Breezango that had a picture saying they wanted “2B their friends.” Fandango and Breeze brushed them off as Ascension left dejected. Behind Breezango was the box sitting on the table marked “2B.”

That clue could be the biggest aspect of solving the case. There was a “new” tag team that made an appearance on Tuesday’s SmackDown. Former Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have returned. However, they are now going by a new name, The Bludgeon Brothers. The two cut a promo or vignette holding large destructive looking hammers and speaking about inflicting damage on others.

With that said, the ProWrestling report by Jason Powell raised an interesting clue that a fan mentioned on Twitter with the “2B” on that box Breezango received. That “2B” could mean “two letter Bs,” which is what Bludgeon Brothers is if one takes just the first letters of each word. It could be a stretch but it seems to make a lot of sense.

Tyler Breeze and Fandango would provide the repackaged tag team some new opponents to work with. Before that can happen, Breezango will have to officially solve the case. However, it seems like it could be leading them towards a path of even more harm. That said, it won’t be surprising at all if these two teams are put into a feud in the near future.

WWE fans, do you think The Bludgeon Brothers will end up being responsible for attacking Breezango backstage?
