WWE Rumors: Can Jeff Hardy Return From Shoulder Injury Earlier Than Expected?

Jeff Hardy is currently recovering from shoulder surgery, and he is set to miss around six to nine months. Hardy is also set to undergo another shoulder surgery, but it won’t affect his current timetable for recovery. However, is it possible for Jeff to make a miraculous return earlier than expected just before WrestleMania 34?

“The Charismatic Enigma” underwent right shoulder surgery last October 3 to repair a torn rotator cuff. He sustained the injury during the Six-Pack Challenge on the September 18 edition of Monday Night Raw. Even though he is out for six to nine months, Jeff said in an interview with WWE.com that he could be still involved with the WWE Universe in a different capacity while in recovery.

There’s a lot of crazy ideas. It inspires me to think a lot more about what I can do other than the extreme stunts and still be entertaining.”

According to PWInsider (h/t Wrestling Inc.), Jeff Hardy is set to undergo another surgery on his right shoulder. Besides the torn rotator cuff, Hardy was also diagnosed with a torn labrum, but his recovery time did not change despite going under the knife twice in as many weeks. There is a possibility that Jeff is going to miss WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year.

Jeff Hardy has a long recovery road ahead and a tough rehabilitation process that has already started. However, Josh Raibick of Daily DDT pointed out that the WWE tends to give a longer time frame of recoveries to give the injured superstar a surprise return. In the case of Jeff, he can actually return from a torn rotator cuff in just four to six months.

But of course, Jeff has a lot of wear and tear on his body, and he is already 40-years-old. The torn labrum could also take longer to recover from, but some fans are going to be hopeful that Jeff will return just in time for WrestleMania 34.

After Jeff returned to the WWE with his brother, Matt, at this year’s WrestleMania, they have won the Raw Tag Team Championships. They have been lost in the shuffle after losing the titles, but there are rumors pointing to the introduction of “The Woken” Hardys.

And if Jeff cannot get involved in a WrestleMania program, Raibick suggested that he could return on Monday Night Raw the next night. The Raw after WrestleMania is one of the biggest events of the year, and it gives a returning superstar a lot of momentum. The momentum can help Jeff become relevant, and it could lead to a singles push.

Nevertheless, it should be noted that these are still just purely speculative at the moment. Take it with a grain of salt because Jeff Hardy has gone through lots of injuries in his career, and he does not have super healing powers like John Cena.
