Las Vegas police are now revealing that Stephen Paddock left a cryptic and numeric note in his room at the Mandalay Bay. People shared the details about this note and what it could mean. As of right now, nobody has been able to confirm the motive behind Stephen Paddock shooting and killing 58 people at the Route 91 Harvest concert in Las Vegas. Police did find the note that was left behind could mean something, though.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Undersheriff Kevin McMahill confirmed the note and said that it has a series of numbers on it. As of right now, they have no idea what this means, but it could be a clue to figuring out why this happened. McMahill explained that in the past, the motives have been known a lot easier than this case from people posting on Facebook or leaving notes that explained it all. Stephen didn’t leave a note that explained anything other than this cryptic note, and if anyone knew about his plan, then they have not been found nor come forward yet.
Of course, now the speculation about what this note means will start. If the Las Vegas police figure anything out, they may share with everyone or they may keep it a secret if they feel like that is the better thing to do for the case.
Right now, the Las Vegas police are still trying to figure out Stephen Paddock’s motive, but it doesn’t seem like they are any closer to figuring it all out. One other thing that he shared is that they are sure that there was not another shooter in that room. There has been a lot of speculation that he had assistance, but the Las Vegas police are denying that could be the case. They are still trying to find out whether anyone else knew about it, though.
Are you shocked to hear that Stephen Paddock left this cryptic numeric note at the scene? Do you think it means something about the case or was just a piece of paper left behind? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts.
