Reason Why WWE Officials Won’t Turn Bray Wyatt Babyface Revealed

Over the past couple of months, Bray Wyatt has been deadlocked in a feud with Finn Balor. Two of WWE’s darkest characters have been battling for supremacy, which will culminate in a huge match at WWE TLC in a few weeks. There is a lot of speculation about the debut of “Sister Abigail” at the event. It’s being said that Wyatt will be introducing the persona as his version of Balor’s “Demon” to even the score between them.

“The Demon King” has made Finn Balor a strong babyface despite inconsistent booking on WWE television over the past year. Bray Wyatt’s “Sister Abigail” could build him a similar rapport with the WWE Universe, but it’s unclear if WWE officials are interested to turn Bray Wyatt babyface on Raw. There have been some opportunities for him to make the turn over the years, but there is a reason why Wyatt has remained a heel.

It’s being discussed that WWE officials haven’t pulled the trigger on a babyface turn for Bray because there are too many faces on the Raw roster already. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose, and even John Cena are all babyfaces for the brand. The roster needs Wyatt to remain a heel unless the powers that be are interested in turning one of their faces into a heel in the near future, which doesn’t seem likely.

Bray Wyatt Has Been Stuck in the Midcard On Raw

The main concern that people have regarding Bray Wyatt’s future is his run as a heel getting stale. His reign as the WWE Champion heading into WrestleMania 33 was lackluster, but the WWE Universe is concerned that may be his only chance to become a top guy in the company. Many people feel that a babyface turn for Wyatt could be the necessary move to cement him on top of the WWE ladder as a bonafide main event star.

At WWE TLC, the debut of the “Sister Abigail” persona will be a huge indicator of his future. The gimmick could be a one-time thing during the feud with Balor, or it could become a trademark for Wyatt. Sooner or later, WWE officials will give Bray Wyatt a babyface run on WWE television. However, it will be the WWE Universe that decides if that becomes the angle to finally cements Bray Wyatt into a top position in WWE.
