Documents And Details In ‘Glee’ Actor Mark Salling Child Porn Guilty Plea Included Disturbing ‘How-To’ Manual

Now that former Glee actor Mark Salling has made a deal and pleaded guilty in his child pornography case, the documents and details have been made publicly available, and they are more disturbing than imagined. In addition to having images of babies and toddlers being sexually abused by grown men, Mark Salling had a how-to manual instructing adult men on how to have sex with little girls.

Salling is still out on bail awaiting sentencing and wearing an ankle monitor, but the deal he made will put him behind bars for several years. The nearly two years between Salling’s arrest and his plea was due to his reluctance to agree to do jail time, but federal prosecutor reportedly refused to make a deal without time behind bars.

The deal that Glee actor Mark Salling, 35, made with the court will put him in prison for four to seven years, according to court documents. Salling was found to be in possession of over 50,000 pornographic images and videos of young children, many of which were photographed or taped engaging in sex acts with adult men. Now, some of the victims have been identified as being from the U.K., and several of the images were said to be also created in Great Britain involving “known victims of child exploitation.” Part of the deal the Glee actor made includes Salling to make restitution to those victims who have been identified.

But perhaps the most disturbing material seized from the computer of Glee actor Mark Salling was a sickening how-to manual that instructed adult males on how to rape little girls — a pedophile instruction guide.

Within the plea agreement for in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on October 3 was the mention of the pedophile manual.

“Defendant also possessed on his laptop computer a document called ‘jazzguide’, which is a manual that instructs adult men how to abuse little girls who are between three and six years old.”

Reportedly, the bulk of the child pornography found in the Salling’s possession was of children under the age of ten, and some of which included images that depicted violence. Documents revealed that some of the photos and videos “portrayed sadistic or masochistic conduct” by the adult males in the images.

Court documents also revealed that the former Glee actor was using special software that masked his IP address presumably to keep him from being detected by authorities. But at some point prior to the search of his Los Angeles home, Salling showed some of his child pornography collection to an unnamed adult female, who allegedly went to the police.

Back in 2015, the LAPD seized the laptop, phone, and a memory stick from Mark Salling, and it is the memory stick that contained 160 videos referred to in court documents as “child pornography and child erotica.”

“In total, defendant’s collection consisted of approximately 25,000 still images of child pornography, approximately 600 videos of child pornography, and approximately 29,000 images of child erotica.”

TMZ reported that while awaiting his actual sentence from a federal judge, Salling was spotted out and about in Los Angeles picking up some Japanese carry-out from a restaurant called Sake Sake. While the deal Mark Salling made with federal prosecutors contained a sentence recommendation of four to seven years in prison, the judge only needs to use this as a guideline. The federal judge is not bound by the recommendation in Salling’s agreement, so he could spend more or less than seven years behind bars, followed by 20 years of probation.
